How Getreacted works, what we do with data, and how to stay safe here.

Terms of Service & Acceptable Use

Getreacted is a public, anonymous reaction wall for short opinions. By using it you agree to keep things legal and respectful: no illegal content, no harassment, no attempts to unmask another person, no spam or bots. Break the rules and your posts can be removed and your access ended.

Reading is always free and needs no account. Guests can post a limited number of takes; a free account lifts that limit. You accept these terms on entry and again when you create an account.

Privacy Policy

Anonymity is the whole point, so we collect as little as possible and never ask for your real name.

What we collect

• An anonymous session. Every visitor gets a random identity so you can post, vote and react. It isn't linked to your real-world identity.
• Your contributions. Takes you post, votes and reactions you give, along with the board and a timestamp.
• Account details (optional). If you create an account, we store an email for sign-in, password resets and reaction alerts you switch on. Optional profile details are private to your account and never shown on the wall.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs needed to run and secure the service.

What we don't do

We don't ask for your real name, we don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other websites for advertising.

Cookies

We use an essential cookie to keep you signed in and remember your anonymous identity. Non-essential cookies only run if you accept them in the cookie banner.

Who processes it

Data is stored using Supabase (database and auth). Account emails such as password resets and reaction alerts are delivered through Resend. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security terms.

Retention & your rights

We keep posts and reaction data while a board is live and delete it on a defined retention schedule. You can ask us to access, correct or erase your data at any time — use the contact option below.

Reporting, moderation & safety

Every card has a 🚩 Report button. Use it to flag a breach of anonymity, something unsafe, or an unpleasant post. Reports go to moderators, are never shown publicly, and never reveal who reported. We detect and remove illegal and prohibited content and aim to minimise how long it stays visible.
